Over New Year, I spent a night in a quaint hotel with welcoming staff. The decoration exuded character and the location was perfect. The staff were incredibly helpful, making a much-needed cup of tea and offering assistance with lost items. The food was outstanding with a vast selection to choose from. The wine list was superb, and the prices were fair.
Although the continental breakfast was OK, the presentation and quality could have been better.

We had a wonderful stay at a lovely and characterful place for an overnight stop. The staff at Hotel Le Clou were incredibly welcoming, charming, and helpful. They went above and beyond to assist us when we lost our wallet, even making phone calls to possible places it could have been left. They also made a much-needed pot of tea for us, which was a great comfort. The restaurant at the hotel was excellent, and it was filled with locals, which is always a good sign. The wine list was impressive, and the food was superb. The location of the hotel was very accessible, with the bus stop and a pizzeria just across the street, and the only grocery store within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel for its friendly staff, excellent restaurant, and homely atmosphere.
